Missing? Ozzy....

I was going through my Ozzy cds and I think I am missing 1 or 2...can someone give me a list of his albums by order when they were released...also curious to know which album is your favorite? Black Sabbath dont count just Ozzy please...Thanx much...

The only two Ozzy I own are Blizzard Of Oz and Diary Of A Madman. Those two albums are two of the greatest albums ever recorded in every single way. I bought them when they came out, and when Randy died it was the first time I cried over a famous person dying. I sat anxious and excited to hear the new stuff.

Then Friday Night Videos started to advertise that they were having the premire of "Bark At The Moon" on!!! There I sat in front of my TV all set to see Ozzy come storming back to the brilliance I loved soooo much. The "evil", the "scary", the "serious".

Instead I got Ozzy running around in a werewolf suit, acting terribly, with a song that was just downright silly sounding.

Ozzy went onto say that his stuff was meant to be taken in the light of Hammer Horror films. The video was a tribute to Hammer or sorts. The thing was, I loved the fact that his stuff, with Sabbath (though I am not a fan) and those first two solo releases, was SERIOUS. I never took it as an act. Everything since then has been an act.

I now realize that it was Randy, Bob Daisly, and Lee Kerslake that I was a fan of. They just found a really good vocalist to front THIER band. If those three could somehow put out a new album, I am sure I would LOVE it.

Long answer I know. Sorry. But it is a case of everytime Oz releases new stuff, I get excited, and hope to once again have those feelings hit that a 10 year old me had once upon a time. I love Ozzy for what he did for me as a kid. I loved my Ozzy obsession, and I love my memories of it. I would never have taken my guitars serious without Ozzy finding Randy. But the man has broken my heart for years now. But I will always respect him, and have a little love for him.
